A Chinese female foreign worker, working for an Israeli woman – Miri, goes away for one hour and disappears leaving behind a sweet Chinese kid that knows absolutely no Hebrew. If you were Miri – what would you do? Miri, played by Mili Avital, tries to figure out where the woman disappeared to, and once she figures out that the poor woman was deported back to Beijing, she decides to do what she can to reunite the kid with his mother. The kid, nicknamed “Noodle” by the Israelis for his ‘unique’ noodle sucking technique, is the cutest, saddest, happiest kid yet, a pick that together with some top Israeli actors makes this film really work well.
